The dead has dignity- Chimamanda Adichie

One teaching of the Catholic church talking about the seven corporal works of mercy is to bury the dead.

This according to Chimamanda Adichie, on an interview,  most clergy men lack sympathy for the dead as they can go ahead making all kinds of demand from the family, when Christianity is all about compassion.

“The Holy Mass is not an avenue for setting petty scores and for airing the insecurities of small minded clergy.

“The dead deserve dignity, The Holy Mass is sacred.”
