Alleged Festival Rape: Five Persons Arrested in Ozoro

Five persons have reportedly been arrested by the Delta State Police Command after an investigation was launched into the sexual assault trailing the Ozoro community festival.

Those arrested include the community head and chief organizer of the Ozoro festival, Chief Omorede Sunday, and four others from Oramudu quarters.

The information was disclosed by SP Bright Edafe on X on Friday, and the Commissioner of Police, Aina Adesola, has ordered their immediate transfer to the State Criminal Investigation Department and vowed to bring anyone involved to justice.
