The Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal (PEPT) has chosen Saturday, September 16, to deliver its final judgement on the outcome of the 2023 presidential election according to sources quoted by Politics.

The sources today Monday claimed that the tribunal has now picked September 16 as the ruling date for the suit challenging the election victory of President Bola Tinubu.

Reports gathered that one of the sources said the five-member tribunal all agreed on the fixed date as the deadline to deliver its judgment.

The date is the final day available for the tribunal to deliver its judgment on the three petitions instituted by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), the Labour Party (LP), and the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) together with their presidential candidates, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, Mr. Peter Obi, and Princess Chichi Ojei respectively.

However, the tribunal is yet to release an official statement on the date to deliver its ruling.
