Police Neutralize Kidnap Kingpin In Ughelli

In a bid to create a safe and secure environment for the people living in Delta State, the special force deployed to Ughelli by CP Abaniwonda Olufemi has neutralized a kidnap kingpin in Inene.

Following credible information the team stormed the Inene community where a gun duel ensued between the suspect, Joseph Joel and the police.

According to the command spokesperson of the command, DSP Bright Edafe speaking on Monday in Asaba, Joel was rushed to the General Hospital after he sustained various gun injuries but died shortly after.

He said an AK-47 rifle was recovered from Joel while other gang members on the run were being searched for amongst other suspects paraded at the command headquarters
