NLC Members Will Storm LP Offices Nationwide, Ajaero

The National Secretary of the Labour Party, Alhaji Umar Farouk, has stated that a statement will be released to address a threat made by Nigeria Labour Congress Leader, Joe Ajaero, regarding the sack of LP National President, Julius Abure.

The statement from Farouk comes amidst the earlier threat by Comrade Ajaero that all union leaders in the 36 states will invade and take over the offices and National Secretariat of the Labour Party in Abuja.

Ajaero’s directive is a response to the Supreme Court judgment vacating Julius Abure from the position of LP National leader.

According to Ajaero, Abure and his team cannot go against court orders while parading themselves as leaders, but it was countered by the National Secretary that Ajaero and his associates are merely showing their empty rascality.
