Members Of The Obidient Movement Are Not All Labour Party Members– Peter Obi

The Labour Party presidential candidate, LP,  Mr. Peter Obi has said not all members of the Obidient Movement are members of the Labour Party.

According to the former Anambra governor, members of the movement are at liberty to make their choice of support in the upcoming governorship and state assembly elections.

Speaking on Arise TV’s Morning Show on Monday, Obi who came third in the February 25 presidential election that saw the emergence of Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress APC as the winner said members of the movement can vote for anyone they see as the best candidate in their various states.

He said Obidient Movement is not an extension of the Labour Party but a group that believes in his political ideology

Recall that many House of Representatives and senatorial candidates rode on Obi’s popularity to win their elections for their various constituencies. The state elections are coming up this Saturday, March 18, 2023.
