Labour Party Legal Team Meets INEC Over Election Materials Inspection

The legal team of the Labour Party is in a meeting with officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Abuja.

The meeting with INEC officials was held at the Commission’s national headquarters to start the process of inspection of electoral materials used for the February 25 presidential election.

The head of the legal team, Dr Livy Uzoukwu, led 60 lawyers and are expected to brief journalist after the meeting according to Channels Tv.

The Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi has faulted the process in which the INEC declared Bola Tinubu of All Progressive Congress the winner of the February 25th presidential election, hence he went to court to challenge the process.
