Four Bank Hackers Arrested In Abuja, EFCC

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested four men linked to fraudulent withdrawals and unauthorized access to bank computer systems in Abuja following intelligence information.

The leader of the syndicate group, was arrested alongside Effiong Victor Emmanuel, Damian Ali, and Mohammed Bello Mahmud, who is the Managing Director Director of Downstone Ultimate Limited.

These men are alleged to be involved in hacking, compromising databases of commercial banks, and making transfers and withdrawals through various digital platforms.

A statement by the EFCC spokesperson, Dele Oyewale, on Tuesday, reveals that upon conclusion of the investigation, the suspects would be charged in court.
