FG Slams Fresh N110b Charges Against Yahaya Bello

Fresh 16-count charges have been filed by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission against the former state governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello, to the tune of N110 billion.
Recalled that the embattled ex-governor and his nephews Ali Bello, Dauda Sulimam, and Abdusalam Hudu had earlier been slammed with N80.2 billion money laundering charges and using government money to acquire properties in Abuja and Dubai.
According to this new charge, the N110 billion was a criminal breach of trust, and it was filed before the Abuja Federal High Court.
On Bello’s part, he had dragged the EFCC to the Supreme Court for declaring him a wanted person.
