Popular Nigerian singer, Raoul John Njeng-Njeng aka Skales, is under investigation by the Lagos State Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, (EFCC) when two suspected internet fraudsters were arrested at his home.

On Tuesday, EFCC disclosed on X that the names of the two suspects arrested at Sakles’s Lekki residence are Udemba Chukwuemeka (a.k.a Jody) and Jamal Jamiu Onasola (a.k.a. Jamal).

According to EFCC, Chukwuemeka and Onasola were arrested for duping persons in a romance scam.

There was an earlier report where singer Skales had accused the anti-graft agency of sending officials to invade his house on Monday night.

Skales said the EFCC officials operated like criminals when they broke into his house carrying guns, sticks and other harmful objects.

Reacting to the allegations on Tuesday EFCC said Chukwuemeka has been in Skales’ residence for two years, while Onasola has only stayed there for a few months and claimed that the singer is their mentor.

Investigation is ongoing and they will soon be charged to court.
