Court Grant Emefiele Bail With Conditions

The Federal High Court in Maitama, Abuja has granted bail to Godwin Emeifele, the suspended Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria with the sum of N300 million.

Justice Hamza Muazu, delivered the judgement with the condition of the embattled Emefiele to provide two sureties, residing in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, and have landed property within the Maitama District.

The ruling further fixed November 28 to commence a full hearing on the six-count charge levelled against Emefiele by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.

Emefiele before today’s judgement has been ordered by the court to submit all his travelling documents to the clerk of the court.
