Baby freezes to death in US-Canada border

A few meters from US border along a route used by migrants, the Canadian authorities have found dead bodies of four people including a baby on Thursday.

Statement by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police reveals that with an early investigation done, it appears they died due to exposure to the cold weather.

The bodies of two adults and the baby were found around 12 meters from the US border a 10 kilometers walk from the town of Emerson in central Manitoba province while the fourth who was a teenage boy was found later.

Earlier that Wednesday, US border agents detained a group of people, who crossed with baby items without any baby and this called for a search on both sides of the border.

After four hours of searching the first bodies were found.
