Suspected armed robber arrested in Delta

A notorious 25 years old armed robber, Liyo Okiri, who has being terrorizing Sapele have been nabbed by police in Delta State. On arrest a locally made pistol, two live cartridges and one expanded cartridge was found with him.

It was gathered that police attached to Sapele Division received call that a two man robbery gang led by Okiri were operating at No.6 power close Okirigbaga in Sapele, Delta State.

Following the information, police team swung into action led the Sapele DPO. CSP Harrison Nwbuisi got to the scene and arrested Liyo Okiri while the others escaped.
