Alex Ikwechegh Apologizes To Bolt Driver After Assault

Controversies trailed Alex Ikwechegh, a member of the House of Representatives from Abia State, after he assaulted a Bolt driver, Abuwatseya, who came to deliver a snail package and asked him to come out but instead was beaten by the politician and even promised to send him on extinction.

The House Rep member has, however, tendered a public apology to the driver, admitting that his behavior did not meet the public standards and would work on it, using it as a means of community service for others to manage their emotions.

Ikwechegh said he regretted the actions he caused Abuwatseya, his constituency, and the general public.

The lawmaker also applauds the Nigerian police for ensuring the rights of the citizens are not trampled on by anyone, no matter their status.
