Adele and Celine Dion share emotional moment in Las Vegas show

It was an emotional moment over the weekend at The Colosseum in Caesars Palace, Las Vegas when the “Easy on Me” singer, Adele met with Celine Dion during her performance.

In a video clip shared on social media by a tik-tok user, Adele sees Dion sitting in the crowd and immediately bursts into tears. she approached Céline, who stood to greet her. Dion also appears to be emotional as the two share an embrace.

The audience erupts into applause while Adele continues to sob and places a hand on Dion’s face. Celine Dion sweetly kisses Adele’s hand before taking a seat. Dion was filmed dabbing tears out of her eyes, appearing to be as overcome by the moment as Adele.

Adele, still visibly emotional, turned to the crowd and announced, “Give it up for Miss Céline Dion!” prompting cheers and applause as Céline, too, stood up , waved and blowed kisses to express her gratitude.

Adele in an Instagram post on monday shared a photo of the moment revealing it was for her a  “surprise”.

She said “ I have been performing in Celine Dion’s room at the Colosseum for almost 2 years now. 4 weeks to go!

“It was the only venue I wanted to play in Vegas because it was built for her. I have a picture of her right next to the stage that I touch every night before I walk on and she came to the show this weekend and it was a surprise and it was a MOMENT!!

“@celinedion I love you so very very much. Words will never sum up what you mean to me, or what you coming to my show means, let alone how it felt seeing you back in your palace with your beautiful family” Adele said.

“I have loved being there it has been such an honor and Saturday night will be something I remember forever and ever. Such a full circle moment for me to be there with you. Thank you so much”
