Presidential candidate of the Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC), Peter Obi, spoke in an interview about deliberate threats from the government to frustrate him and that he might not even come out alive.

Mr. Peter opened up about the struggles he has been battling with the government, both directly and indirectly, during an interview with Chude Jideonwo, alleging that he may not be alive if the threats continue.

“The way they are going now, I might not be alive. I’m telling you, every single thing I do for a living, this government is frustrating it deliberately.

“Everything, so there’s even a possibility that if they have the opportunity, I will not be alive. I face frustrations every day because the things you may think are normal are not normal. They won’t come directly and say, “Oh, we are doing this,” but you can see their hand in everything eventually.

“The government is attacking everybody. I am being attacked personally, even when it comes to providing me with things I am entitled to—not at all,” he said.
