Dogs Mauled Security Guard To Death In Lekki, Lagos

A security guard whose identity was not revealed was mauled to death on Wednesday at Pinnock Estate, Ilasan, Lekki, by dogs belonging to one Salisu Mustapha.

Lagos State Police Command reported on the incident, according to a video seen on X, that the owner of the three dogs has been arrested.

The spokesperson of the command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, said information gathered reveals that Mustapha did not properly lock the dogs, that was how the animals escaped and killed the estate security guard.

Hundeyin said the Commissioner of Police, CP Olarenwaju Ishola, assured the public of justice as the dogs have been confiscated pending the outcome of the investigation.
