Police Kill Two Kidnappers Terrorizing Ughelli/Patani

Kidnappers terrorizing Ughelli and its environs have met their waterloo after two suspects were killed by the Delta State Police at their hideout along Ewheru-Patani Road in Ughelli Local Government Area of the state and recovered arms.

According to Delta state PPRO, SP Bright Edafe on Wednesday in Warri, the criminals were brought down by Operatives from the Commissioner of Police Special Assignment Team following credible information.

Operatives of the squad entered Ewheru-Patani Road on October 28 but were ambushed by the criminals, during which a gun battle was engaged, leading to two of the criminals sustaining injuries.

They were later confirmed dead by the General Hospital in Ughelli. However, investigations revealed that the suspects have carried out killings in Oghara, Ughelli, and Mosogar, making the Warri-Sapele road a nightmare for people.
