Young Man Allegedly Stabs and Kills Himself in Delta

‎While others were using Sunday, June 29, as a medium for relaxation after a busy week, that was not the case for a 23-year-old man, ThankGod Elufo, who stabbed himself to death in Asaba.

‎The incident took place behind Nwodo Estate in Ajaji (Bonsaac) layout, Asaba, when the young man was called by his elder brother to dress up for an outing.
‎
‎It was alleged that while the elder brother was waiting for him outside, the deceased had entered the kitchen to stab himself to death.
‎
‎A witness told Punch that when the incident happened at night, a call was made to the Vigilante Chairman in the layout, Mr. Okolo, who visited the scene.
‎
‎ The Chairman of the vigilante group in Ajaji layout called the police at about 11 PM, and the body was removed to the morgue.
‎
‎According to Mr. Okolo, who went there with the vigilante Chairman, the deceased had been acting strangely, shouting that people wanted to kill him after he was poisoned last year by unknown persons.
