Just In: Policemen Take Over PDP National Secretariat, Stop NEC Meeting

Armed policemen have taken over the Peoples Democratic Party Secretariat on Monday due to the supposed National Executive Committee meeting.

The security men were deployed to stop the NEC expanded caucus meeting following tension that continues to pressure the party.

According to an official of the party, some staff members were allowed to enter the premises but were later sent out by the police; journalists were also asked to leave the secretariat.
