Yahaya Bello Pray Court To Transfer Offence To Kogi State

Embattled former governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello, has appeared before the Federal High Court in Abuja handling his criminal case to transfer it to Kogi State.

Yahaya made this known to the court through his legal counsel, Adeola Adedipe, that the offence was allegedly committed in Kogi, it is therefore proper for him to be tried in the state.

Recalled that the Kogi former governor was petitioned before the court by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC for money laundering, and mismanagement of public funds to the tune of N80.2 billion.
