Work to develop communities in your domain,Governor Sheriff to LGA Chairmen

Governor of Delta State, Sheriff Oborevwori, has charged Local Government Chairmen in the state to lay more emphasis on the development of communities in their domains.

Oborevwori gave the charge at the inauguration of Alihame Market and the 1.15 kilometre Abude Street with dual drainage in Agbor, constructed by Ika South Local Government Council.

The Governor who was represented by his Deputy, Monday Onyeme, stated that the essence of having the third tier of government was to ensure that good governance gets closer to the people at the grassroots.

He thanked the Ika South Local Government Chairman, Jerry Ehiwario, for executing the projects within few months of being in office as he urged the people to make good use of the projects.
