Words Of War: FCT Senator Slams Wike For Claiming She Sponsor Hunger Protest

Senator Ireti Kingibe, the lawmaker representing the Federal Capital Territory, has cried out over an alleged defamation of her character by the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike.

She condemns the act as a shameless orchestration to cause falsehood, but she will not tolerate it.

According to Wike, a senator was sponsoring the protest as the person was seen distributing food items to protesters.

He said security agencies would invite the senator to know why they would sponsor such acts against the government.

Though Wike did not mention names, Senator Kingibe said he was referring to a video when the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi and other top members of the party were addressing aggrieved members calling for the sack of Julius Abure as National Chairman of their party.

This also follows a call by Peter Obi that fingers are pointing towards him as a sponsor of the protest which he knows nothing about.
