Why I Left Marvin Records — Korede Bello

Post created on 10:12 am

A few years back, the sounds of ‘Godwin’ resonated in the hearts of all, but years later, many kept wondering about the disappearance of singer Korede Bello.

Korede Bello was a part of Marvin Records but only spent a few years in the brand with hit songs like Mungo Park, Romantic, and Beloved, amongst others, before he left seven years ago.

Speaking at an interview on Hip TV, the singer revealed he left the Don Jazzy label because he was now feeling used like a product.

According to Bello, he needed time to make some retrospect on life and reconnect to know himself instead of just being a product to make money and the addiction is what many artists find themselves.

“You lose sight of what matters when you chase after the next hit, after the next whatever it is that can get you into conversations,” he said.
