Admission strictly based on merits,Onojaeme tell nursing students

The Delta State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Joseph Onojaeme, has assured prospective nursing students that admission into the State Colleges of Nursing Sciences for the 2024/2025 session will be strictly merit-based.

In a statement issued over the weekend, the Commissioner cautioned applicants against engaging in fraudulent activities, emphasizing that no shortcuts would be tolerated in the process.

He highlighted reports of a certain “Barrister Barry,” who has been illegally collecting money from individuals, promising them admission into the nursing colleges and warned parents, students not to engage with the said individual, stating, “Barrister Barry is not an employee of the Ministry of Health or any of the Colleges of Nursing Sciences in Delta State.”
