Tribunal Admits Chicago University, NYSC Certificates Against Tinubu

Certified copies of the academic and work records of President Bola Tinubu presented by the Peoples Democratic Party and its presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar have been admitted by the Presidential Election Petition Court.

The documents are a B.Sc certificate from Chicago State University, an NYSC Discharge Certificate, and a Mobil Nigeria Oil Plc certificate of service.

The documents were brought by PDP witness, Mike Enahoro Ebah Esq, noting that the documents were purportedly obtained by Tinubu but bore the name Bola Adekunle Tinubu.

Led in evidence by PDP counsel, Chris Uche (SAN), the witness also tendered forms EC13 and EC9 nomination forms and the letters written to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) as attachments

The Counsels to INEC, Abubakar Mahmoud (SAN); Tinubu, Emmanuel Ukala (SAN) and APC, Lateef Fagbemi (SAN) all objected to the admission of the documents.

The defence lawyers are however set to cross-examine the witness.
