Senegal President-Elect Steps Out With Two Wives

Shock and surprise went down people’s faces immediately after the President-elect of Senegal, Bassirou Diomaye Faye stepped out with his two wives.

Faye has promised a radical change in Senegal during his campaigns.

Marie Khone has been married to Faye for over 15 years and have four children together While Absa is just a year old in marriage.

Senegal with a majority of Muslim citizens does not condemn the act of polygamy as a tradition.

However some Senegalese see polygamy as an unfair treatment towards women.
