Police Rescue Students Abducted Along East-west Road

The nine students that were abducted along the East-west road at Ughelli, Delta State have been rescued by the Nigerian police force.

On Friday gunmen laid ambush on a minibus with students who are traveling and whisked away to an unidentified location.

The students from a school in Calabar were returning home for a holiday.

Confirming their freedom, late Monday night, after a report from Channels TV, DSP Bright Edafe, the Public relations officer of Delta police command, said all 9 students and the driver had been rescued unarmed.
