Following the judgment of Justice Binta Nyako on Friday concerning suspended Kogi Central Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, who is to be recalled back to the Senate, the Senator has promised to resume duty fully on Tuesday.
Senator Natasha was reacting through a video on Sunday when she gave the assurance and thanked her supporters for standing by her.
It is recalled that on March 6, Natasha was suspended by the Red Chamber for six months over an alleged gross misconduct, but the judgment of Justice Nyako faulted the suspension, stating that as a representative of her people, the time period was too long to impose on an erring member.
However, on Sunday, a statement from the Senate spokesperson Yemi Adaramodu revealed that the Red Chamber cannot act on the ruling as it is yet to receive the Certified True Copy.
