Prime Minister of Pro-Biafra, Simon Ekpa Arrested in Finland

Self-acclaimed leader of the separatist pro-Biafra movement, Simon Ekpa, has been arrested and imprisoned by Finnish authorities over terrorism-related issues.

Ekpa was arrested and detained by a district court in Päijät-Häme for causing public incitement with terrorist intent, while four others were arrested for financing terrorist activities.

A statement was released by the Central Criminal Police in Finland following Ekpa’s arrest, indicating that the suspect has caused violence in South-Eastern Nigeria.

The statement quoted the head of the investigation, Crime Commissioner Otto Hiltunen from the Central Crime Police, who noted that Ekpa has carried out this activity, among other things, on his social media channels.
