A two-year-old abducted by 29-year-old Fejiro Obaduemu at Igbudu Market on May 10 has been rescued and reunited with the family.

Fejiro was prevented from carrying out his evil acts when residents of Idesoh Street, Essi Layout, suspected the sack bag used to carry the child and raised the alarm.

The angry mob almost lynched Fejiro but he was saved by operatives of the Quick Response team, who rushed him to a police clinic in Warri for medical attention, after which he was taken into custody for investigation. According to Bright Edafe, PPRO, the child is now with the family in the Hausa Quarters community, while Fejiro confessed to being sent by an unidentified person in Warri. However, efforts are being made to track down the suspect.
