Afenifere Calls For Release Of Abducted Students By Bandits In Oyo

Various calls and pleas keep pouring in for the safe return of students and teachers abducted by bandits in Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State.

Calling on the state government to swiftly put measures in place for the safe return of the victims kidnapped from Baptist Nursery and Primary School, Yawota; Community Grammar School, Ahoro-Esinele; and L.A. Primary School on Friday, May 15, the pan-Yoruba socio-political organization, Afenifere, called on the state governments to look deeper into security in the southwest as infiltration is spiking.

This was contained in a statement released by its National Publicity Secretary, Jare Ajayi, on Sunday in Ibadan, Oyo State, as the forum sympathizes with the families of the victims of the attacks, urging the state government that Yorubaland is under siege and they must stand up
