Police Arrest Notorious Kidnapper Terrorizing Ughelli

A notorious kidnapper terrorizing Ughelli and its environs has been apprehended by the Ughelli Police Special Team at a hotel in Udu Local government area of the state.

Delta State Commissioner of Police, CP Abaniwonda Olufemi made it known that the arrest was possible with a special team that worked with the Ughelli DPO to bring the syndicate to book.

Briefing pressmen about the arrest, Olufemi said with credible information, police stormed a hotel in Udu on the 8 of March 2024 where the kidnapper was arrested.

Following his arrest, a pump action gun, loaded with four cartridges, one Beretta pistol and three rounds of 9mm ammunition was retrieved from him.

The investigation is ongoing and the suspect will soon be charged in court.
