Liberia Set Day To Seek God’s Intervention Yearly

The Republic of Liberia has declared the second Friday of April as a National day for Prayer, Fasting and meditation for the nation’s growth and prosperity.
President Joseph Nyuma Boakai, through his Foreign Ministry, announced the new development on Friday, April 12, 2024.
The release called on all Elders, Deacons, Pastors, Priests, Evangelists and Imams, irrespective of their religious background to intercede for the Nation’s growth and peace.
Every second Friday in April all citizens of the country should gather at their places of worship either in towns or cities in a simple appearance appealing to God from 8 am, to give them great achievement as a people.
The release working in line with the law of Liberia said during that period all public offices, business houses, as well as marketplaces are to remain closed.
Further adding that all citizens and foreign residents will cease their usual daily occupations all in recognition of God’s love and guidance.
