Passenger Excretes, Vomits 80 Wraps Of Cocaine At MMIA, NDLEA

On Sunday the 13th of March 2024, a young man under the pretense of a false identity was arrested by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, with 80 wraps of cocaine.

The young man, Carr Bismark who was attempting to board a flight to Delhi India through Doha on Qatar Airways with a Liberian international passport was later discovered to be Freeman Charles Ogbonna.

When Freeman Charles Ogbonna was taken in for a body scan and investigation, he started showing signs of discomfort.

According to the spokesperson of the NDLEA, Femi Babafemi his statement on Sunday, during the interrogation, Ogbonna was given something to hold him from using the restroom.

Ogbonna started retching, vomiting, and excreted 80 wraps of cocaine weighing 889 grams he had ingested into his system.

Babafemi added that The suspect claimed he was recruited by one of his relatives who was into the business, given the wraps to swallow at a hotel in Ipodo, Ikeja, and promised N300,000 if he could deliver the consignment in India.
