Man Arrested With Contran Ban Drugs In Delta

In a bid to cut the excess of drug abuse and the deadly effects on people, a young man has been accosted by the Delta State Police Command in possession of some hard drugs including codeine.

Making a statement on his x handle on Sunday, SP Bright Edafe the public relations officer revealed that 572 units of codeine and tramadol were recovered from the suspect.

Lamenting on the negative impacts on youths using such substances, Edafe totaled the banned and controlled drugs discovered in the possession of the suspect as 375 bottles of CSP codeine, 44 bottles of CSC codeine, 120 sachets of tramadol 200mg, and 33 sachets of swinol capsules.

He said as a force they would not relent but continue to go after these vendors that deal with such illicit drugs killing the young minds of today.

December last 2023, the  National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, accosted traffickers with millions of tramadol, codeine, and bags of Canadian loud with the intent to flood the Nigerian market.
