Osun State Governor Intervenes for Man Sentenced to Death for Stealing Fowl

Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State has delved into the judgment given by a court for sentencing a young man who stole a chicken to death by hanging.

The Governor asked for the intervention of the Attorney General of the state to ensure the young man’s freedom before the end of the year 2024.

Ordering a pardon in a statement through his spokesperson, Olawale Rasheed, Adeleke said Osun is a land of justice, equity, and fairness; the protection of all lives is the responsibility of the state government.

Adeleke, therefore, assured the public that the matter will receive his direct attention with a sense of urgency.
