Agbi Commend Contractors for Taking Advantage of the Dry Season

The Special Adviser to the Delta state Governor on Project Monitoring/Auditing, Engr Dr. Goodnews Agbi, has commended contractors for taking advantage of the dry season to intensify works at their sites.

Agbi who gave the commendation while speaking with newsmen after inspecting the Construction of Emevor Ivrogbo/Orogun road phase II in Emevor Isoko North LGA of the state, noted that the Sheriff led administration is not only concentrating on road construction, but is investing heavily in the educational sector following the monitoring of the rehabilitation works of 6 classrooms block at Mixed Secondary school Ogbagu-Ogume and rehabilitation of 6 classrooms at Abbi Girls Comprehensive secondary school both in Ndokwa West LGA.

Other areas inspected were the construction of Pentecost lane/Chief Dr. CC Road Asaba in Oshimili South LGA, Reconstruction of Orerokpe/Okuloho/Oviri Road, Dualization of Ezesi road Orerokpe and Stormwater Control measures at Osubi in Okpe LGA.

Dr. Agbi who was impressed with the level of jobs achieved at all the sites visited said the governor is keeping to the promise he made to the people of Isoko on the construction of the phase II Emevor-Orogun road where he called for continuous support and prayers for the governor.
