No Fuel Has Been Lifted from Our Refinery — Dangote

The general public has been urged to disregard a purported news headline-making wave: ‘NNPC lifts Dangote Petrol, sells at N897 per liter’ published by a national daily.

This claim by the publication was denied by Dangote Group through its Chief Branding Communications Officer, Anthony Chiejina, in a statement on Thursday.

It says NNPCL has not moved any petroleum product from its refinery at N897 as Dangote, as an establishment, cannot fix a price on its own until their final agreement is concluded with NNPCL.

Chiejina said PMS, which is strictly regulated and known to all oil marketers cannot be influenced or determined by Dangote.
