Once again, a Nigerian is attempting to write his name on the Guinness Book of Records for the longest hour of ironing.

Jeremiah Abiola Fasipe, a student in the United Kingdom, announced his 155-hour attempt to kick start from July 1st to July 6th, 2024.

Opening up about reasons for attempting the challenge, Jeremiah said during his apprenticeship in 2018 at a fashion school in Kirikiri town, Lagos State, he was responsible for all the ironing of customers’ clothes, which he later grew passionate about.

He added that the attempt is to display endurance, talent and perseverance and also to inspire young minds to push themselves beyond their limits.

The recording-breaking attempt already approved by GWR will be held at 350 Petre Street, Sheffield, UK.
