Niger Delta: Fix refineries and seaports, group tells ministerial nominees

A coalition of groups from the Niger Delta region have enjoined the former Governor of Rivers state, Nyesom Wike and other ministerial nominees from the region to fix the Port harcourt and Warri refineries and seaports.

The group comprising of the Niger Delta youths council worldwide, The South-South All progressives Congress (APC) youths vanguard and Coalition expressed their faith in the ministerial nominees which includes Ekperikpe Ekpo, Senator John Eno, Abubakar Momoh, Stella Okotete, and Dr. Beta Edu. The coalition stated that the nominees hold the promise of catalysing transformative change in the Niger Delta Region.

They contended that the revival of the refineries hold the potential to stimulate economic growth and create job opportunities in the region.
