Nathaniel Bassey Petition Four Over Being The Father Of Mercy Chiwno’s Son

Social media was buzzing last week after popular gospel singer, Mercy Chinwo and her husband Pastor Blessed uploaded their baby’s photo on various handles but were attacked by some users who claimed the baby looks like fellow gospel singer Nathaniel Bassey.

The claim that how the baby has a striking resemblance to singer Nathaniel stirred different controversies and opinions from people.

Reacting to allegations, Nathaniel Bassey has written a petition to the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun to investigate and prosecute the four persons involved.

The petition which the singer said was a defamation to his character as a father, husband, and Minister was meant to destroy his image which has been built over the years therefore Okoronkwo Ejike, Kingsley Ibeh, Terrence Ekot, and Dj Spoiltkid’s posts should not be slid under the carpet.

Recalled that on X, Okoronkwo Ejike’s post went viral when he called out Minister Nathaniel as the father of Mercy Chinwo’s son and three others commented in support of his alleged claim.
