Miss US 2019 dies commits suicide at 30

On Sunday at about 7:15am, one time Miss US 2019 and lawyer, Cheslie Kryst jumped off a 60-storey Orion building at 350 W. 42nd st. where she lived.

According to New York post, Kryst, 30,who lived on the 9th floor leaves alone at her apartment, when she was seen dead on the 26th floor of the building.

Hours before her death, she wrote on her Instagram page “May this day bring you rest and peace.”

The family of the former beauty queen confirmed her death in a statement.

“Cheslie embodied with love and served others, either through her work as an attorney fighting for social justice, as miss USA and as a host on EXTRA TV. Most importantly as a daughter, sister, friend and colleague, we know her impacts will live on.”

Police said she left a note leaving everything to her mother but did not give reason for her actions.
