Mama G Promises To Sue Widow Over Land Dispute

‎Popular Nigerian actress Patience Ozokwor, also known as Mama G, has promised to take legal action against a widow and her daughter for wrongfully accusing her of obtaining land by false pretenses.

‎A viral video of a widow and her daughter surfaced online, with accusations that the only piece of land inherited by the widow from her late husband was bought by Mama G without their consent.
‎
‎The video, which gained some views, included talks from both sides and was responded to in a statement by the actress on Tuesday, who claimed the said land was bought in 2010.
‎
‎According to Patience, the land owner was aware of the sale, as she was the one who approached her agent to help her find a buyer.
‎
‎Mama G revealed that the land was sold directly to her from an agent whom the widow approached to look for a buyer, but in 2024, the widow went behind to sell a plot.

According to Patience, when she heard what the widow did, she went to fence the land, and now the daughter and mother are crying that the land was forcefully taken from them.

‎Patience said it was just cheap blackmail meant to tarnish her image and reputation, and she would use legal means to vindicate herself, even as she shares her disappointment with bloggers sharing the video without properly investigating the matter.
