It is unacceptable to adjust tariff- NLC

The Nigeria labour congress says it will not accept any adjustment in price of electricity in the country irrespective of the band or category of customer.

Speaking on Tuesday during an interview in Owerri, vice chairman of the NLC Joe Ajero, maintained that it is unacceptable to adjust tariff when there has been no improvement in service delivery.

He also berated the power distribution companies for failing to sufficiently meter customers eight years after privatization.
