Imo Doctors Perform CS on Pregnant Woman with the Help of YouTube Video

The owner of Lebechi Hospital in Owerri, Imo State, has been arrested after a failed surgery was conducted on a pregnant woman with the help of a YouTube video.

‎In a video shared by the deceased’s husband, Mr. Onyekachi Eze explained that the doctors were literally watching how to perform a cesarean section (CS) on YouTube while they carried out the operation on his pregnant wife.
‎
‎In Eze’s words, “I carried my wife to the hospital when she was in labor, and the doctor said she needed to undergo an operation because she was bleeding.
‎
‎“So the female doctor called another doctor to come and operate on her. Right in my presence, they were using their phones to watch a YouTube video on how to perform surgery, and I lost my wife and my baby during the process.”
‎
‎The Police Command in Imo State has arrested the owner of the hospital and the nurses on Tuesday, but the doctors who carried out the operation are on the run.
