Gov Oborevwori Urged Appointees To Serve State Not Ethnicity

The administration of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has given more assurance to the people of Delta State in full commitment to economic and sustainable development in a short time.

The governor was giving this reassurance during the swearing-in of the nine new special advisers on Wednesday.

According to Oborevwori the appointment and swearing-in of Hon. Charles Oniyere; Mr. Michael Ogboru; Chief Ebikeme Clark; Chief Sylvester Oromoni, Hon. Shadrach Rapu, Dr. Donald Peterson; Engr Goodnews Agbi; Hon. Peter Uviejitobor and Chief Nathaniel Igbani, will help in building a strong team for his administration.

Congratulating the new appointees Gov. Oborewori Urged them to bring innovative ideas that would help in advancing the state from its current position to an enviable height.

He further went on to advise the Special Advisers to promote mutual harmony among the various ethnic nationalities.

Oborewori also warned the special advisers against preferential treatment to people that they are meant to serve the people of the state irrespective of ethnicity, party affiliation, socioeconomic status, or educational background.
