Another series of darkness awaits the Nigerian populace after reports that the National grid operated by the Transmission Company of Nigeria in Osogbo, Osun State has collapsed.

According to the Guardian on Thursday morning, the grid went as low as 273 megawatts of electricity coming from two out of the over 27 electricity generation.

The report also claimed that distribution companies confirmed that the grid went down in the early hours of 12:41 a.m., leaving the majority of their feeders out of power.

TCN a few days back had boasted to celebrate four hundred days of grid stability until its collapse today.

However, TCN has yet to respond to inquiries about this new development.
