First Year Student Arrested for Killing Final Year Student

A first year student from the University of Delta, Agbor has been arrested for killing a final year nursing student.

The arrest was confirmed by the Delta state PPRO, SP Bright Edafe adding that while the girl was arrested, her boyfriend ran away.

It was gathered that the accident which occurred on Tuesday while the first-year student, Precious Nosakaire was learning how to drive under the tutelage of her boyfriend, the vehicle veered off the road immediately claiming the life of 24-year-old Awele Eluemunor, a final year nursing student, leaving two others in critical condition at the hospital.

It was also gathered that the boyfriend who was the owner of the car fled the scene after the accident.

The Delta State police command has said that “efforts are ongoing to arrest him”
