Covid-19: FG places travel restrictions on 100 passengers

The Federal government has placed a six months’ travel restriction on 100 passengers for failure to comply with covid-19 regulations.

This was revealed in a tweet on Tuesday by the presidential task force on covid-19.

“Presidential Task Force (PTF) sanctions 100 Passports in Second Batch of those who failed to comply with the mandatory Day 7 post-arrival COVID-19 Test. PENALTY: 6-month travel restriction from Feb 5 to July 30, 2021.”

The PTF also released the passport details of the defaulters revealing that they failed to comply with the mandatory 7-day post covid-19 test.
